Marcia Ball is a Stylist, Costume Designer and Creative with over 15 years experience across fashion, film and advertising in Perth, Western Australia.
In 2008 Marcia created the Style Voyeur blog which simultaneously launched her own fashion styling career. Styling editorial and commercial campaigns, she worked across the glossy pages of Black Magazine, InStyle Australia, STM, The West Australian and even had a stint assisting on a Vogue Brasil shoot.
Realising her passion for personal styling early on, the connection she feels working with people to transform their wardrobes and help them to channel a newfound inner confidence, inspires Marcia deeply.
She has since transformed the wardrobes of over a thousand clients to date, helping everyone from mayors to magistrates, executives to new mums and people of all ages, careers, shapes, sizes and walks of life.
In 2010 Marcia pivoted into the world of Film & TV, working on web series’, TV commercials and feature films such as These Final Hours, Tim Winton’s The Turning and ABC iview’s DAFUQ? as a Costume Designer. The challenge this career progression brought has been the most rewarding to date. In 2015 she took on a role as Industry Liaison of Perth Fashion Festival, working with local, national and international designers, vendors and creatives to secure and deliver events, as well as produce advertising campaigns featuring some of Australia’s biggest brands; Camilla, Sass & Bide, Manning Cartel, Camilla & Marc, Morrison, Flannel, Akira Isogawa and Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman of Monday Swimwear.
